The Pause Facial is a beautifully relaxing treatment designed to help you step away from the busyness of everyday life and enjoy 60 minutes dedicated entirely to you.

Using luxurious Tropic skincare products, your 60 minute treatment includes:

  • Double cleanse

  • Gentle exfoliation

  • Relaxing facial massage

  • Tailored face mask to suit your skin

  • Hand and arm massage

  • Nourishing finishing products, including SPF for daytime appointments

My facials have been designed through the eyes — and hands — of a massage therapist, which means massage isn't simply an extra step added to the treatment. It's woven throughout the whole experience.

Depending on the facial you choose, your treatment may include massage to your face, scalp, neck, shoulders and décolletage, as well as your hands, arms, legs and feet.

While your skincare products are working their magic, you are still being cared for.

A few words from Helena 💜

When I decided to introduce facials at Helrica Massage Clinic, I knew I wanted to use products that reflected everything my business stands for.

There were two skincare ranges I was considering. One was Eve Taylor, which I had used throughout my facial training and already knew well. The other was Tropic.

More than a treatment... a little spa escape 💜

Some of my lovely clients have started creating their own little spa afternoons at Helrica Massage Clinic.

Rather than booking just one treatment, they've chosen to block out an entire afternoon in their diary. No Teams meetings. No phone calls. No rushing from one place to another. Just a few precious hours dedicated entirely to themselves.

One lady has booked a Menopause Massage followed by a beYOUtiful Facial, giving herself three and a half hours to completely unwind, recharge and simply be looked after.

Another client has chosen exactly the same, describing it as her own little spa experience without having to travel away from home.

I absolutely love this idea.

Life can be so busy that we often forget to pause. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves isn't another item ticked off the to-do list—it's a few uninterrupted hours where someone is looking after us for a change.

  • Because a Helrica facial includes much more than work on your face. Massage to your neck, shoulders and décolletage is an important part of the treatment, so removing your top allows me to work comfortably in these areas.

    You will always be properly covered with towels and blankets throughout your treatment, and your comfort, dignity and privacy will always be my priority.

  • Yes. Before your facial, we’ll talk through your skin, any sensitivities or concerns, and the products you currently use. I’ll then tailor the treatment and choose products to suit your individual skin.

    Everyone’s skin is different, so if you have an active flare-up, broken skin, a diagnosed skin condition, or you’re under the care of a doctor or dermatologist, please let me know when booking so we can decide what is most appropriate for you.

  • I use Tropic Skincare throughout my facials. I chose Tropic because I loved how the products felt, how beautiful they were to use, and how well they fitted the calm, caring experience I wanted to create at Helrica.

    The products used during your facial will be chosen to suit your individual skin and what it needs on the day.

    Depending on the facial you choose, your treatment may include massage to your face, scalp, neck, shoulders, décolletage, hands, arms, legs and feet. Even while your skincare products, mask or LED treatment are working, you are still being cared for.

    The aim is simple: beautiful skin, a deeply relaxed body and time to completely switch off. 💜

  • The Pause Facial is a 60-minute treatment designed to give you time to slow down, relax and enjoy beautiful skincare alongside plenty of massage.

    The beYOUtiful Facial is a longer, 90-minute treatment with a little more of everything — including LED light therapy, an extended facial massage, heated mitts, scalp massage and a foot and leg massage.

    Both are designed to help you press pause for a while; the beYOUtiful Facial simply gives you more time to completely switch off. 💜


  • LED light therapy is included in the beYOUtiful Facial.

    While the LED light is working, you can relax and enjoy a foot and leg massage, so you’re still being looked after throughout that part of the treatment.

    The Pause Facial does not include LED light therapy.

  • That’s absolutely fine. The beYOUtiful Facial can still be tailored to you.

    If you’d prefer not to have the LED light therapy, you can simply relax and enjoy your 10-minute foot and leg massage without the LED treatment. You’ll still receive all the other lovely elements of the beYOUtiful Facial and have the same time set aside just for you. 💜

  • Absolutely. If you’d like to make a little more time for yourself, you can book a massage and a facial together as one longer appointment.

    Some of my clients choose to do exactly this, setting aside a few uninterrupted hours to switch off, relax and be looked after — almost like creating their own little spa escape at Helrica.

    We can arrange the treatments together in a way that feels right for you, giving you plenty of time to relax without feeling rushed. 💜

  • No, you don’t need to. Your facial begins with a double cleanse, so any make-up, SPF or daily skincare will be gently removed as part of your treatment.

    You can simply arrive exactly as you are and let me take care of the rest. 💜

  • The Pause Facial includes 60 minutes of treatment time, while the beYOUtiful Facial includes 90 minutes of treatment time.

    I’d always recommend allowing a little extra time around your appointment for your consultation, getting comfortable, and having a few unhurried moments afterwards before heading back out into the world.

    There’s no conveyor-belt feeling at Helrica — the aim is for you to feel relaxed from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. 💜
